CPD imageEnrol now in the NCTE’s free online courses for primary and post primary teachers:

Developing e-Learning in your School (Post Primary)
Course dates: Feb 6 – Mar 9, 2012.

Developing e-Learning in your School (Primary)
Course dates: Feb 20 – Mar 23, 2012.

The courses run for five weeks and are suitable for teachers with intermediate level ICT skills. You will need a Teaching Council Registration Number and a Scoilnet Account to enrol. Places are limited.

Spring schedule for NCTE funded face to face courses

CPD imageThe new spring schedule for courses commencing in January and February has now been published on the NCTE website. Full course and venue details are available on the site. Contact your local education centre to book a place. This schedule is updated regularly with new courses so please check back if you don’t see something of initial interest.

Summer Whole School Training for Primary

CPD imageNow is the time to think about applying for NCTE funded whole school training to be held in your school for you and your colleagues. Contact your local education centre in the first instance to request NCTE’s fully funded whole school training on ICT in teaching and learning, or submit a whole school training request form to your local education centre (available via the Read More link below).

The following primary courses will be available for summer 2012:

arrowNCTE: Using the Interactive Whiteboard to support Literacy
arrowNCTE: Creating and using ICT resources for Literacy

New NCTE courses will also become available on ICT in the infant classroom and literacy development using Scratch.
